Zoe Burns-Shore appointed new Executive Director for Customer Delivery of the Money and Pensions Service

The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) has announced the appointment of Zoe Burns-Shore as the new Executive Director for Customer Delivery.

Zoe Burns-Shore will start on 03 January 2024, bringing over 20 years’ experience, working both in the public and the private sector, developing strategies that support and reward colleagues in customer focused delivery, most recently at Yorkshire Water.

Caroline Siarkiewicz, MaPS CEO, said:

“I am delighted to welcome Zoe Burns-Shore to the Money and Pensions Service, as the new Executive Director for Customer Delivery.”

“Delivering high quality services focusing on getting the right outcomes for our customers is key to our success.”

“Zoe’s vast experience in putting the customer at the heart of public and private sector organisations, combined with Money and Pensions Service’s strong foundations, will be critical to us continuing to help people, particularly those most in need, to make the most of their money and pension.”

Zoe Burns-Shore, Executive Director for Customer Delivery, said:

“I am really looking forward to joining the passionate team at the Money and Pensions Service and taking the MaPS mission of helping people to improve their financial wellbeing forward.”

“MaPS has a key role to play in making impartial money guidance accessible to all, and I look forward to working closely with our many partners to help people right across the country feel more able to manage their money."

MaPS is an arm’s-length body of the DWP and provides free and impartial guidance across the UK, as well as debt advice in England. In providing these services it supports the policy delivery of DWP and HM Treasury.
