The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) has a core function to deliver debt advice in England. As part of this, we fund national debt advice services.
National debt advice services provide free debt advice to people in need across England, either digitally or over the phone. They aim to reduce people’s money worries, helping them to improve their financial resilience and take control of their situation.
National services deliver support through trusted and quality debt advice from expert advisers, with flexible support that fits around people’s individual lives. National debt advice providers often work with partners to reach people in need.
