The Minister for Pensions, Torsten Bell MP, has reappointed Simon Hamilton as a non-executive director (NED) of the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) Board for a further five-year term.
Non-Executive members of the MaPS Board are responsible for providing oversight, support and challenge to the MaPS Executive team, led by CEO Oliver Morley CBE.
Simon first joined the MaPS Board as NED on 1 September 2022. He has held a diverse portfolio of NED and Board advisory roles and brings more than 30 years’ experience in financial services with extensive expertise in strategy, digital innovation and complex transformation delivery.

MaPS is an arm’s length body of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and provides free and impartial money guidance across the UK, as well as debt advice in England. In providing these services, it supports the policy delivery of DWP and HM Treasury.
